In what has become a fun new tradition for Riverside East Rotary, we once again helped out at the Citrus Festival at CA Citrus State Historic Park. The club purchased and donated two kegs of beer from Carbon Nation Brewing in Riverside and showed up in force — working both a morning and afternoon shift to help make the day a success.

On February 25th Christopher Cox, Tom Evans, and Matt Goatcher from Riverside East Rotary again helped support Project Food at the First Congregational Church on Mission Inn. We were also joined by Maxwell Setsoafia from the Rotary Club of Greater Riverside. Project Food helps to serve a hot, sit down dinner every Wednesday along with clothing and blankets in order to bring comfort and dignity to those in need.

Riverside East Rotary Club helped clean up Brockton earlier this Rotary Year, and it has already been three months…well, almost. On January 24th Riverside East Rotarians teamed up with the Rotary Club of Riverside to again clean up Brockton. Thank you to all who were able to help with this last minute request!

On Saturday, December 20, Riverside East Rotary spent the day ringing bells for the Salvation Army outside the Stater Bros on Mary Street. Our Rotarians covered shifts throughout the day, greeting shoppers and spreading a little holiday cheer along the way.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered and to the generous community members who donated, we raised just under $500 to support the Salvation Army’s important work during the holiday season. A great example of Rotary service making a local impact!

Riverside East Rotary enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Community Settlement Association Christmas Party on December 12. This long-standing annual tradition brought plenty of smiles as St. Nick made a special appearance, spreading holiday cheer and helping deliver gifts to the kids.

Sending Students Off to PRYDE! 
This morning, Riverside East Rotary had the privilege of sending local students off to PRYDE (Personal Responsibility in Youth Development & Education) — a Rotary-sponsored leadership program designed to empower young people through confidence-building, teamwork, communication, and personal growth. PRYDE gives participants a safe, structured environment where they step out of their comfort zones, discover their potential, and build skills that will stay with them for life.
We’re proud to support opportunities that inspire the next generation of leaders and look forward to hearing about their experiences when they return!

This weekend, members of Riverside East Rotary joined forces with the Rotary Club of Riverside to help keep our city beautiful! Together, we rolled up our sleeves and cleaned up Brockton Avenue between University and 14th Street — an area adopted through the Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful program.
It was great to see Rotarians working side by side to make a visible difference in our community. Thank you to everyone who came out and lent a hand: your service helps keep Riverside shining!

This past weekend our club was busy! Riverside East Rotarians had the chance to serve in two great community events:
We supported the Riverside Citrus Classic Bike Ride, benefiting the Riverside Education Enrichment Foundation (REEF). Our club helped staff the Toyota Rest Stop on Jefferson Street, keeping riders hydrated and encouraged along the route.
We also joined forces with the Riverside Art Museum to help set up for ARToberfest. Thank you to everyone who lent a hand setting up tables on the rooftop and getting things ready for the event.

Riverside East Rotary lent a hand at Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s Brush of Kindness project. In just a few hours volunteers from Rotary and other organizations painted a local house and left it looking like new. Thanks to all who were able to attend!
